Patricia Marie Olcomendy

1935-2017

     Patricia "Pat" Marie Olcomendy, peacefully in San Francisco on September 30, 2017 at 82 years old surrounded by her loving family. Patricia is preceded in death by her beloved husband the late Honorable J. Dominique Olcomendy, her cherished son the late Inspector Brian Olcomendy of the San Francisco Police Department and her devoted son-in-law Kevin Egan. 

     Patricia was born in San Francisco, CA to parents Russell and Kathleen Berti. She graduated from Lone Mountain College in June 1957 and worked as a computer programmer at the Lawrence Livermore Lab. After raising her family, Patricia returned to school and received a Juris Doctorate from the Hastings School of Law in May 1985 and proceeded to practice law as a partner at the firm of Dreher, Garfinkle, and Watson before her retirement.

     Patricia is survived by four daughters Elaine (Brendan) Falvey, Teresa Olcomendy, Yvonne Olcomendy, and Nicole (Gary) Adams; daughter-in-law Andrea Olcomendy; nine grandchildren Ryan, Chris and Aileen Falvey, Nick and Alex Egan, Joe Olcomendy , and Frank, Kristen and Melissa Olcomendy. Patricia is also survived by many loving friends who shall miss her spirit and charm. 

     Friends may call Thursday, October 5th from 1:00 pm to 4L:00 pm at Duggan's Funeral Service, The Duggan Welch Family, 3434 - 17th Street in San Francisco and call after 6 pm with recitation of the Rosary at 7:30 pm at Saint Cecilia's Catholic Church on 17th and Vicente Avenues. Funeral Mass to be held on Friday, October 6th at 1:00 pm at Saint Cecilia's followed by interment at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Colma. All are welcomed to attend the services in celebrating the life of our beloved mother, grandmother and friend.
