Lucrecia Borgen Mihalopoulos, age 86, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2017 in her beloved city of San Francisco.

 Lucrecia was born on October 31, 1931 in Nicaragua to parents Enrique Borgen and Josefa Huelva Granados. She came to San Francisco in 1952, where she would meet and marry her husband Chris. Together, they raised their only child, a son. They were a small family but they had great love and devotion for one another.

 Lucrecia was a kind and gracious woman who always helped anyone in need. She enjoyed spending time with her extended family and friends immensely. Her home was always very welcoming and brightened by the beautiful flowers she carefully tended to.

Lucrecia was predeceased by her husband Chris Mihalopoulos. She is survived by her son Tad E. Mihalopoulos, sister Wilma Garcia, grandsons Tad Mihalopoulos Jr and Tyler Mihalopoulos, great-grandaughter Tatianna Mihalopouos and great-grandson Marcus Mihalopoulos.

 She will be missed dearly by those were lucky enough to call her Mother, Sister, Mother-in-Law, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Aunt, Cousin, Friend and Neighbor. She will remain forever in our hearts.
