Joe Boss passed away at home in San Francisco with his wife Janet by his side. Son of Marie and the late Louis, father of Tom (Delanie) and Christina del Villar (Ken Seto); proud grandpa Joe of Beatrice; brother of Judy, Nicki and the late Mike. Joe is forever loved and will be very much missed by all of us and his extended family.
Joe’s wry sense of humor brought a spark and a laugh to conversations and meetings alike. He enjoyed working on development projects with colleagues, community and neighbors. He and Janet lived in and advocated for their neighborhood of Dogpatch and Potrero for 30+ years. Joe most enjoyed sailing around SF Bay aboard his boat The Outrageous, traveling with Janet, and sharing time with family and friends.
