The service itself may be humanistic or religious. Our Directors will assist you in obtaining a person to lead your service if you have no church affiliation. Traditional Funeral: One day of visitation with a Vigil or Quiet Hour scheduled the day before the funeral. Friends who may not be able to attend the funeral service may pay their respects and pray for their friend. The day after the Quiet Hour or Vigil a formal funeral service is held in the funeral home and/or at church, followed by a committal service at the cemetery or delivery to a crematory.
There are variants of the Traditional Funeral, all of which our staff are trained to provide. We are experienced with Orthodox Funerals, Taoist, Buddhist, Catholic and Evangelical, Liturgical, Humanist, Non-Denominational, etc. and we support that by providing Funeral Directors who speak Cantonese, Mandarin, and Spanish.
Infant and Children Services: We provide funeral services at an affordable cost to those who have lost their young loved ones within the San Francisco community. If this is a death that has taken place outside of the San Francisco City area, please contact your local Funeral Home and they should provide a similar service. If your local Funeral Home needs assistance with a death that took place in San Francisco County, please have them get in contact with us.
Other Commonly requested services:
Scattering At Sea: You can leave the cremated remains in our care and we will scatter at sea for you. We don’t use a third party because our funeral directors do the scattering themselves by boat in San Francisco Bay.
We can also arrange for you or provide you with the information you need to arrange scattering service from a vessel in either San Francisco Bay, the Golden Gate, or from Pillar Point Harbor in Half Moon Bay into the Pacific Ocean.
We will guide you with memorial service ideas that suites your budget and we help you for arranging the right funeral service program for your loved ones.
