Ronald Lawrence Ramirez Obituary
Ron passed away at home, where he enjoyed watching movies, cooking, following the daily news. Ron’s proudest accomplishment was his sobriety. He recently celebrated his 46+ year anniversary of being sober.
Ron was very charitable, donating to various organizations such as Catholic charities, leper organizations, and to Veteran organizations.
Ron served in the military band during the Korean War. He was an accomplished union drummer and often played at some of the big hotels and nightclubs in San Francisco. He spent 30 years working for the United States Postal Service and retired in 1985.
He will be interned with his brother Ray at Golden Gate National Cemetery who passed away on D Day during the celebration of the end of WWII.
