Maureen Mary (Coffey) Cavan

A native of Lisheenbawn, Castleisland, Co. Kerry, Ireland, passed peacefully in San Francisco. Dearly beloved wife of the late Michael; beloved mother of Daniel (the late Precilla), Eileen (Paul Ingle), Marian (Jim) McKay, Katie O'Sullivan, Sean (Patty) and Rosie; adoring grandmother of Aidan, Jack, Emma, Nicole and Michael; dear sister of Sean (the late Kathleen) Coffey, Pat (Julie) Coffey, Peg (Mike) O'Donnell and the late Kit (the late Michael) Doyle, Bridie (the late Micheal) O'Brien and Liam (Mary) Coffey; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A loyal friend to many and cherished member of the Irish community. She was a familiar face from the Irish Center to Irish Delights.
Friends may call after 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 10, at St. Cecilia's Church, where the Rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m. and the Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Committal, Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations preferred to St. Anthony's Dining Room or the San Francisco Foster Youth Fund.
