Mary Elizabeth Schroer

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Elizabeth Schroer at the age of 92. Mary was born, raised and lived her entire life in San Francisco. She was the second of four children born to the late Jack and Betty Ahern. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Bob Schroer, and her brothers Jack and Bill Ahern.

     Mary is survived by her five children: Debbie (Bob), Bobby, Mary, Michele (Dave), and Kathy (Jeff). She was a proud grandma to eight grandchildren: Jenny (Chris), Tommy (Morgan), David, Valerie (John), Michael, Danny (Megan), Angela and Julia. Mary was blessed with seven great grandchildren whom she cherished: Adam, Hailey, Cameron, Calvin, Rosie, Hannah and Zoey. They brought her much joy. Mary is also survived by her dear brother Larry (Francine), countless nieces, nephews, cousins and left behind many friends. We will all miss you. Rest in eternal peace.

     A Mass will be held at 10 AM on Saturday March 1st at St Philips Church, 725 Diamond St San Francisco. Interment will be private.  In lieu of flowers, if you would like to make a donation in Mary’s memory, please send it to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 5, Memphis TN 38101.
