Margarita Villalta Molina Obituary

Margarita Elia Villalta Molina passed away at 92 years old as a result of several strokes which left her unable to speak or the ability to swallow food or water.  She peacefully passed on April 2, 2022, as her faith teaches, resting on the Sabbath.

Margarita is survived by Jeronimo Villalta, her eldest son, Sonia Villalta, her daughter, Ruby Marbury, her daughter and Jose Marbury, her youngest son.

Margarita was born in San Salvador, El Salvador in Central America.  She came to San Francisco alone in her early 20’s, knowing very little English and having no money to stay with her aunt, Cristina Rodriguez.  As time passed, Margarita raised four children as a single Parent.  She was dedicated to her children’s spiritual well-being and education by raising them as Seventh-day Adventist (SDA), enrolling her three, youngest children in SDA private schools. She continued her own educational achievements by completing her AA & BA degrees in Early Childhood Development.  She loved taking care of young children for many years.  She loved to travel, especially by trains to different European countries like Greece and Spain.  Her favorite trips were to Hong Kong, Egypt, Switzerland and England. There are times we didn’t know what country she was visiting— she was a strong and awesome adventurer!

Her deep faith in God and love for Jesus gave her strength and confidence throughout her entire life.  Her SDA church family, friends and children will miss her, but they know they will see her again when Jesus returns soon.  Amen!
