Margaret Patnaude Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Margaret May Patnaude, known lovingly as Margi, who passed away peacefully in her home in San Mateo, California, on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at the age of 79. Margi left this world surrounded by the warmth of her daughter Megan, son-in-law Will, and her beloved granddaughters; Kiara, Ava, Mariah and Mia, exactly how she had hoped to, in the comfort of her own home, surrounded by love.

Born on August 13, 1945, in Seattle, Washington. Raised in San Francisco. Margi was a proud San Francisco city girl. She was a devoted and loving wife to her husband, Ronald Lee Patnaude, and together they built a beautiful life as now they reunite once again in heaven. Margi was an incredible mother to her daughters Megan and Michele, and to her grandchildren; Kiara, Ava, Mariah, Mia, Mikayla, and Melea, she was known as Mimi, a name that encapsulated her nurturing and loving spirit. Margi’s heart was as big as her family’s love for her. She was a constant source of strength, compassion, and joy for everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Margi had a passion for life’s little pleasures—her beautiful hair and flawless makeup, her love for jewelry, and the joy she found in looking her best. She had an impeccable sense of style and radiated beauty, inside and out.

A woman of strength and determination, She had a strong sense of justice and was dedicated to standing up for what she believed in. Her convictions and willingness to speak out inspired those around her and left a lasting impact on those who knew her. Margi was known for her heart of gold. She would go to great lengths to help others and was always there to lend a hand or offer words of encouragement. Her compassion knew no bounds, and she made lasting, positive impacts on the lives of those fortunate enough to call her a friend.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Rest in peace, Margi. You were loved beyond measure, and your spirit will always be with us.
