Gerald G. Foley died on Monday, April 8, 2024 with his brother and cousins by his side. He was born in Manchester, England on February 24, 1956 to Patrick and Stella Foley. Immigrating to San Francisco with his family in 1960. Gerald graduated from St. Gabriel School (1970) and Sacred Heart High School (1974). He worked for United Airlines, Holy Cross Cemetery, and CYO Transportation. He loved music, especially jazz, and played harmonica in a band called “Looking for the Good” in the 70s and 80s. He loved sports and his dogs, Buddy and Wicks.

Gerald is survived by his daughter; Alexandria “Sasha” Foley, whom he loved and adored, sister Carol Tolliday (Brian), Blackpool, U.K., brothers Rev. Jerome P. and Mark Foley, nephews Byron (Caitlin) and Paul Tolliday (Lauren), great nephew Nico, cousins Andrew Foley and his wife Mairead. Family friend Eileen A. Peverini, and numerous cousins in the U.S., U.K., and Ireland. Gerald was loved and will be missed.

Family and friends may visit after 10:00AM, Monday, April 22, 2024, at St. Peter Church, 700 Oddstad Blvd., Pacifica, CA 94044. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00AM.

Burial is Tuesday, April 23, 2024, 11:00AM at Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations be made to St. James School Endowment, 1086 Guerrero Street, San Francisco, CA 94110.
