Alonzo Graves Obituary
Alonzo Graves, “Abba D” passed away on the evening of May 24th, 2023 with his lovely wife by his side. To honor his request, his immediate family held a private service celebrating his life. Abba D, as he is affectionately called by his two precious grandchildren, enjoyed a very close grandparent relationship. He loved sharing wisdom and life experiences and encouraged them to succeed.
Alonzo is remembered by his extended family members and friends as Big Al, the life of the party! He will also be remembered as, living his life to the fullest, being a great cook, as well as a great host and keeping it real. Alonzo had a contagious sense of humor and an enormous personality. His authenticity and fearlessness were what made him unforgettable.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Hettie and two sisters, Mary Lue and Maxine.
Alonzo leaves to cherish his memory wife Shirley “Shell”, son Rod, daughter- in- law Pat, and two grandchildren, Asha and Zamir.
I would like to thank everyone who has visited and stayed connected with him until the very end.
