Millie and John moved their young family to Wichita Falls, Texas when John received a basketball scholarship to Midwestern State University. While John chased his dream of basketball, Millicent supported him by working at a local bank. At the age of three, Janet became the University’s mascot! As the ‘Littlest Cheerleader’, her proud Mother watched as she cheered for her Daddy.
Millie discovered her niche` in Banking and Finance. Upon her return home, she worked at The Mission Rebels, a non-profit organization, located in San Francisco Mission District. This led to her establishing a career at First Interstate Bank where she worked her way up from a Teller to Branch Manager.
