Joe Mitchell Obituary
Peacefully in this city, devoted husband of Gwendolyn Mitchell, loving father of Antoine, Omar and Mark Mitchell. Joe was the First African American President of the HOD Carrier's Union Local 36. He was Honorably Discharged from the U S Army after serving in Vietnam. Friends may visit on Tuesday October 23 from 2:00 to 6:00 pm and are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Wednesday 11:00 am at Mt. Trinity Baptist Church, 68 Haight Street, San Francisco.
Interment will take place in his Hometown of Summerville, South Carolina.
