Jay Jaworski Obituary

Jay Jaworski was the beloved son of Sylvia and Carl Jaworski, brother of Lynn Brzostek (Jeff) and David (Brooke), and adoring uncle to Adie, Faith and Ruby. He will also be missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

Jay grew up in Troy, Michigan, attended Redlands University and lived in San Francisco for 25 years where he was a DJ for KUSF and worked as a rigger. He loved music, traveling, his two cats and spending time with his many friends; And was honest, loyal, hardworking, and fun loving.

Friends and family are invited to attend Jay's 50th birthday party on Friday evening, June 22nd, 5-10 p.m., at Bender's Bar and Grill, 806 South Van Ness. A celebration of his life will be held at The Fillmore, 1805 Geary, on Saturday, June 23rd, from 4-8 p.m.. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to KXSF sfcommunityradio.org
