William Taylor was the cherished youngest son of the late Myles and Hazel Taylor.
He was a graduate of the Louise M. Lombard Special Education School and the Teen Program at the Recreation Center for the Handicapped. William was a long time member of the Arc of San Francisco. Willie participated in the Special Olympics and worked as a Custodial Engineer for Bank of America, and San Francisco City Hall.
William is survived by his sisters Dorothy, Theresa, Deborah, and Darlene; a host of nieces, nephews: an aunt and uncle; many cousins; and many friends who loved him dearly.
Friends and family are welcomed to attend his Celebration of Life on May 2, 2023 at Bethel AME Church located at 916 Laguna Street, San Francisco. There will be a viewing at 10am and services will begin at 11am. The service will also be livestreamed @BethelAMESF (www.facebook.com/BethelAMECSF) and YouTube channel (search for “Bethel AME SF”).
