Mary Florence Crowley

   It is with heavy hearts that family and friends announce the passing of Mary Florence Crowley on June 2nd, 2018. She was the treasured daughter of the late Jeremiah and Honoria Crowley, and beloved sister of Patricia Ann and the late Robert Lee. Mary Florence was a native San Franciscan and a career educator in the San Francisco school system.  She devoted her life to teaching children at Spring Valley Elementary School. Following graduation from Presentation High School, Mary Florence attended Holy Names College and finished graduate studies at San Francisco State University. She was known for her dry wit, her intelligence and her unfaltering dedication to both family and church.  

   Mary leaves behind a sister-in-law, Sandra Crowley, nephew, Brendan Crowley (Kara Orvis), niece Jacqueline Crowley and a grandniece and grandnephew, Georgia and Quinn, and many cousins both in the Bay Area and in Ireland and England. Funeral mass to take place at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 725 Diamond St. San Francisco, CA 94114 at 10am, June 12th, 2018. The family requests your prayers for Mary Florence, that she will now rest in peace with the Lord.
