William P. “Bill” Quinn
February 9, 1935 ~ August 8, 2016

Peacefully at home in the company of his loving family. Born in San Francisco to the late Patrick and Elizabeth, he attended St. Philip’s School in Noe Valley, St. Ignatius High School and graduated from Mission High School. Bill was a proud US Navy veteran and lifelong member of UA Local 38, enjoying 47 years as a plumber. He enjoyed the outdoors and spent his retirement fishing with friends and tending to his beautiful garden. He found great joy in spending the last 15 years with his grandchildren, teaching his granddaughter to bake and his grandson the importance of a strong work ethic. Bill is survived by his daughter, Joey; grandchildren, Jacob & Addison; nieces & nephews, Bartholomew, Robert, Daniel, Stephen, Michael, Cindy, Carrie, Marcy, Susan, Timothy, Elizabeth, Tara and Aaron. Preceded in death by his brother Robert and sisters Patricia and Sarah. In lieu of flowers, donations preferred to American Cancer Society.
Friends may call Friday after 4:00 p.m. at Duggan’s Funeral Service 3434 17th St. nr Valencia where the Vigil will be held at 7:00 p.m. and are invited to attend the Funeral Mass, Saturday at 10:00 am at St. Philip’s Church, Diamond and Elizabeth Sts. Committal, Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Colma.
