Isaiah Henry Pruitt

Isaiah Henry Pruitt was born October 24, 1948 in San Rafael, CA to the parents of Elder Bennie Clifton Sr. and Annie M. Pruitt.

Isaiah was the ninth child born of thirteen children. He attended Pruitt's Chapel C.O.G.I.C. in Marin City from his youth to adulthood. He also helped with the family Janitorial Service in Sausalito, CA.

Isaiah attended Burnett Elementary School and Pelton Junior High School in San Francisco, CA. He also attended Woodrow Wilson High School where he enjoyed playing basket ball.

After High School he attended City College of San Francisco, CA where he received his Associates Degree in Physical Education and Business Administration. He continued his education onto San Jose State University to study in the field of Social Work. 

Isaiah broadened his horizons by joining the U.S. Army and served in Germany as a fuel truck driver. Upon returning home he gained employment as a long distance truck driver and from truck driving he retired. 

Isaiah was preceded in death by his parents Elder Bennie Clifton Sr. and Annie M. Pruitt, his brother Ben Pruitt Jr., and Samuel Lee Pruitt.

Isaiah leaves to cherish his memories his brother Bobby Pruitt, sister Lola Belvin, Daisy Brooks, Janice Rutland, Mary Ann Pruitt, Letha Pruitt, Retha Pruitt-Garcia, Juanita Lawson, Celestine Seals, and Arzella Baker, brother-in-laws, aunts, nieces, nephews, relatives and a host of friends.
