Dennis passed away unexpectedly at work due to a heart attack. He was a native San Franciscan and first generation Irish American. He is survived by his adoring parents Eileen and Patrick O’Sullivan and his loving sister, Margaret O’Sullivan. He also will be missed by his cousins: the Villalobos, Becker, McSweeney and Murray families in the US as well as all his cousins in Ireland.
Dennis was a proud graduate of St. Anne’s grammar school and St. Ignatius College Preparatory, class of 1980. Upon graduation in true entrepreneurial spirit, Dennis started his own company, Dennis’ Towing, and assisted many a friend when they were stranded on the streets of San Francisco. Dennis embarked upon a second career with the Retail Clerks Union and spent the last 30 years working at Lucky stores in San Rafael, Napa and Vacaville. He was known for his charismatic smile, warm personality and genuine love of people. His customers willingly waited extra time in his line so that they could be greeted with his charming disposition.
Dennis was an avid Harley Davidson fan and spent many a weekend riding cross country and participated in many Sturgis motorcycle rallies. He truly enjoyed the peacefulness of outdoor life. Being on his ranch and taking care of his animals gave him tremendous comfort and joy. His parents are extremely proud of their son and his accomplishments. He will forever be in the hearts of all those who loved him.
