Charles Conefrey

     Please pray for the repose of the soul of Charlie Conefrey who died on January 9, 2018. The youngest of seven children, he is predeceased by is mother, Brigid McKeon Conefrey, his father John Joe, his brothers Seamus, Sean and Tommy, his sisters Anna May Williams and Lizzy Morris, his brothers-in-law Fintan Morris and John Joe Williams: as well as many dear cousins, the most recent being Fr. Michael McKean.

     Charlie will be sadly missed by his loving sister Sr. Ellen Mary Conefrey D.M.J.. Sisters-in-law Sally Conefrey, San Francisco, Peggy Conefrey, Corglass Co. Longford; eighteen nieces and nephews, all his nieces-in-law and nephews-in-law, thirty-nine grand-nieces and nephews. Charlie will also be missed by a wide circle of cousins and friends. 

     Charlie immigrated to San Francisco from Ireland in 1957 where he made himself at home in the City that he loved. Charlie worked as a carpenter and was a proud member of Carpenter's Local 22. Charlie was well known around town and around the local golf courses. He easily made friends, both young and old, and will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.

     Friends may call Monday from 2 pm to 5pm at Duggan's Funeral Service 3434 - 17th Street and after 6:15 pm at St. Cecilia's Church where the Vigil will be held at 7:00 pm and the Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11:00 am. Committal, Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please have  mass offered for the repose of Charlie's soul.
