Deepest sympathy for McKay family. Death was not part of God’s original purpose for us. We all look forward to the promise at 1 Corinthians 15:26 – "the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing." Death is an enemy that separates us from our loved ones. When this promise is fulfilled, we can enjoy life the way our Grand Creator purposed for us…forever. (Psalms 37:9, 11)

My sincere condolences to the McKay family on the loss of your beloved Arthur. Losing someone you love is the most difficult thing a family will ever do. Our Heavenly Father knows the pain death brings and that is why at Revelation 21:3,4 Jehovah God (Psalms83:18) promises soon all pain, sickness and death will be eliminated. How comforting to know Jehovah not only has the power but the desire to reunite us with our loved ones by means of the resurrection hope Jesus spoke of at John 5:21,28-29.
May you find comfort in these scriptures and your wonderful memories of Arthur.
